The referee ignored Jacarau SS's protests and gave Ediberto Perez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd minute, Ediberto Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cianorte FC's Mido Ryaa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Armando Donatello but with some difficulty. Dorian Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Mazza in the 5th minute of play. Rodriguinho de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Armando Donatello made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Ediberto Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Claudinei Pinheiro in the 15th minute really tested Armando Donatello's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cianorte FC's Dorian Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Mazza in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Jeferson Cabral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Donatello skillfully saved the ball. João Augusto Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Augusto Mazza in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorian Gerber saved Cianorte FC from getting behind. João Augusto Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Gerber having to interfere. Walmir Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Gil Linhares suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jacarau SS's Roger Amaral was substituted for Gil Linhares. Armando Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Rosado in the 36th minute of play. When Rodriguinho de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cianorte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodriguinho de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Ediberto Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cianorte FC booed when Jacarau SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Jacarau SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Cianorte FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jacinto Goiano hit a great ball. Dorian Gerber didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Jacarau SS's João Augusto Mazza shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Armando Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Rosado in the 73rd minute of the match. With his leg Dorian Gerber managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Jacarau SS's João Augusto Mazza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacarau SS's Armando Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Rosado in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jacarau SS's Ediberto Perez got a free kick in the 79th minute. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
