The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Palmeiras do Nordeste getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tiaguinho Vaz hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Urutu SS got a freekick which was hit by Charles de Sena. Wilson Jacinto took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmílson Souto. Edmílson Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edmílson Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Jacinto in the 20th minute of the match. Charles de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dalmo do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Jacinto in the 28th minute of play forced Urutu SS's goalkeeper Edmílson Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Afonsinho Aguiar took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dalmo do Nascimento to make any attempt to save it. Edmílson Souto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Vidal went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Urutu SS's Afonsinho Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmílson Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Jacinto in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Afonsinho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Edmílson Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Vidal in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Wilson Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson Souto. Urutu SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palmeiras do Nordeste walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
