In the 20th minute Cássio Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Cássio Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A. A. INTERNACIONAL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 24th minute, Frederico Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Charito's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Severo came free, but Miguel Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sugar Villavicencio in the 44th minute of play. When Luisinho de Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charito's protests and gave Luisinho de Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A. A. INTERNACIONAL booed when Charito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cássio Severo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Severo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Neto saved Charito from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Cássio Severo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Neto. That made the score 0-9 in the 71 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Cássio Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A. A. INTERNACIONAL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. After a rather tough play, A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Sugar Villavicencio got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Cássio Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederico Couto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Miguel Neto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 84 minutes into the game, Frederico Couto lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Miguel Neto. Charito's Miguel Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Charito from getting a goal against them. After having played for 93 minutes, Kauã Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A. A. INTERNACIONAL played a much better game than Charito and deserved their victory. The Charito players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
