Jacarau SS's Armando Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Arantes in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Madresilva got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Britto. Armando Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madresilva's Diamantino Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Mazza in the 11th minute of play. Donato Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Dracena having to interfere. Donato Catarinense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Diamantino Dracena made a huge save. With a little luck, Madresilva's Diamantino Dracena got control of the ball when Donato Catarinense tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Diamantino Dracena managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Jacarau SS's Donato Catarinense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 26 minutes into the match, Jacarau SS's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Alvarenga came free, but Armando Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Donatello came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Madresilva's Caio Arantes. But to his dismay, Caio Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Jacarau SS defense, Caio Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Donatello. The Jacarau SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Donatello should have stopped the shot. Manuel Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Madresilva getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Manuel Peres hit a great ball. Madresilva's Diamantino Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Mazza in the 42nd minute of play. Diamantino Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Breckenfeld in the 44th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Proença hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Gilberto Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Diamantino Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Jacarau SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Madresilva were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovanni Alvarenga to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Caio Arantes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Donatello. Caio Arantes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Diamantino Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Catarinense in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Madresilva booed when Jacarau SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Jacarau SS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fred Lago hit a great ball. Donato Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diamantino Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Madresilva's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
