Cianorte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras do Nordeste the free kick. In the 23rd minute Mathias Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Maurício Gaúcho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cianorte FC's Dorian Gerber didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Cianorte FC's Mido Ryaa got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Duda Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cianorte FC's Mido Ryaa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palmeiras do Nordeste. A collision led to Palmeiras do Nordeste getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Duda Arantes hit a great ball. Cianorte FC's Wágner Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmo do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cianorte FC's Rodriguinho de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Palmeiras do Nordeste booed when Cianorte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Maurício Gaúcho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorian Gerber skillfully saved the ball. After 85 played minutes Palmeiras do Nordeste got a freekick which was hit by Duda Arantes. Dorian Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmeiras do Nordeste's goalkeeper Dalmo do Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacinto Goiano hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
