Diamantino Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Arruda in the 7th minute of the match. Diamantino Dracena made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Vicente Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the game, Manuel Peres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madresilva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos da Bahia Fc the free kick. In the 8th minute, Manuel Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Diamantino Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovani Linares having to make a save. Madresilva's Caio Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giovanni Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Geovani Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madresilva. When Régis Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Santos da Bahia Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis Loyola couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Santos da Bahia Fc's Mané Arruda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The Santos da Bahia Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovani Linares should have stopped the shot. Diamantino Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Caio Arantes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geovani Linares, 2-2. Madresilva's Diamantino Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Loyola in the 71st minute of play. Diamantino Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes, Santos da Bahia Fc's Fiori Rosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diamantino Dracena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Madresilva's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
