Reginaldo Sergipano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Guimarães in the 5th minute of play forced Altamira SS's goalkeeper Kartal Taştan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hílton Nóbrega made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Altamira SS's Wellington Quadros. Kartal Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Jonathan Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kartal Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Guimarães in the 21st minute of play forced Altamira SS's goalkeeper Kartal Taştan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Aires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lambari's Hílton Nóbrega managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wellington Quadros in the 33 minute of the game. If Narciso Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Lauro Guimarães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kartal Taştan was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes Altamira SS got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Lara. The throw-in from Wellington Quadros in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lambari's Reginaldo Sergipano. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Vito Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Altamira SS's Jonathan Aires got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Lambari's Lauro Guimarães dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Reginaldo Sergipano's late challenge caught a Altamira SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reginaldo Sergipano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Altamira SS booed when Lambari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Lambari were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Altamira SS side.
