If Luís Fábio Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fábio Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guerreiros da Real's Reginaldo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Guerra in the 36th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Guerra couldn't finish the play. 49 minutes into the match, Zadilinos's Luís Fábio Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reginaldo Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Zadilinos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
