José Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guaecá MZ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. José Capixaba hit a great ball. If Franciszek Serwach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Guaecá MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Alberto Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gil Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jackie Chana did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Gil Paes 38 minutes into the match. Franciszek Serwach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Luís Guilherme Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Suárez Rado made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA got a freekick which was hit by Téo Tróia. After a rather tough play, CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's Jackie Chana got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Luís Guilherme Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franciszek Serwach went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Suárez Rado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Franciszek Serwach recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Guilherme Almeida. Franciszek Serwach showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Luís Guilherme Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's zone, Dráuzio Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Guilherme Almeida came out of the goal and Dráuzio Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Franciszek Serwach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Dráuzio Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Luís Guilherme Almeida to make any attempt to save it. Guaecá MZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
