Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Narciso Mendes got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Jhonny Rabelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 9 minutes, Jhonny Rabelo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Buritama Sport Club's Paulo de Godoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jhonny Rabelo took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo de Godoi. Paulo de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jhonny Rabelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo de Godoi having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Eduardo Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Buritama Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Mendes came free, but Paulo de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Narciso Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buritama Sport Club's Paulo de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano Veiga during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sport Club's Fabiano Veiga got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olívio de Lima to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Téo Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buritama Sport Club and the Pinheiros Capibaras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Téo Amaral hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Buritama Sport Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Narciso Mendes scored to the left of an out of position Paulo de Godoi, making the score, 0-7. Silvinho Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Narciso Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinheiros Capibaras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. If Narciso Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Jhonny Rabelo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo de Godoi. Jhonny Rabelo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Paulo de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Silvinho Quintal sent off a good shot on target. Paulo de Godoi was a little too slow when Silvinho Quintal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-10. When Lino Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buritama Sport Club's protests and gave Lino Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. Lino Sousa hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Buritama Sport Club getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tales Moreira hit a great ball. Evandro Alves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo de Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Evandro Alves slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Mendes got free with Paulo de Godoi in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
