But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alberto Aguiar couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Guerreiros da Real defense, Jackie Chana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reginaldo Guimarães. The Guerreiros da Real fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reginaldo Guimarães should have stopped the shot. Mané Koehler's late challenge caught a Guerreiros da Real's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mané Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guerreiros da Real booed when CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafa Matos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guerreiros da Real's zone, Mané Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginaldo Guimarães came out of the goal and Mané Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reginaldo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Aguiar in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafa Matos was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Guerreiros da Real booed when CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Manfredo Mello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Guilherme Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Donato Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Guilherme Almeida. CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Maurício Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Reginaldo Guimarães made a huge save. After 60 played minutes Guerreiros da Real got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Mello. After a defensive mix-up in Guerreiros da Real's zone, Carlos Alberto Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginaldo Guimarães came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reginaldo Guimarães was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Alberto Aguiar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 63 minute of play. Carlos Alberto Aguiar scored 2-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reginaldo Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Koehler in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Guimarães saved Guerreiros da Real from getting behind. If Jackie Chana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Guilherme Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Luís Guilherme Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Matos in the 83rd minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jackie Chana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
