Douglas Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Faria in the 3rd minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Beto Luz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zadilinos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedro Luís Hermes hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Faria in the 32nd minute of play forced Lambari's goalkeeper Douglas Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Henrique Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Lenílson Terra made a huge save. When Lauro Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Lambari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Guimarães couldn't finish the play. Beto Luz took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Tasso. Douglas Tasso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fábio Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Lauro Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenílson Terra. Zadilinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauro Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Lambari's Lauro Guimarães in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Douglas Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fábio Faria in the 82nd minute.
