Kartal Taştan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Paulinho Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kartal Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Alexsandro Guedes made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paulinho Cunha. After 11 minutes, Laércio Tepedino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Altamira SS's Kartal Taştan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kartal Taştan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Sá in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Altamira SS's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Tepedino came free, but Kartal Taştan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Guedes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Altamira SS's Wellington Quadros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 28th minute Paulinho Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kartal Taştan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kartal Taştan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulinho Cunha took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kartal Taştan. Kartal Taştan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jonathan Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ernesto Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulinho Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kauã Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red BuL Sao Carlos's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauã Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kartal Taştan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Kauã Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kartal Taştan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kartal Taştan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Cunha in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Red BuL Sao Carlos were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulinho Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Paulinho Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altamira SS's attentive Wellington Quadros managed to snatch the ball when Alexsandro Guedes made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Alexsandro Guedes in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Altamira SS's Wellington Quadros. Kartal Taştan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Sá in the 68th minute of the match. Rodolfo Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Altamira SS's goalkeeper Kartal Taştan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Tepedino. Kartal Taştan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Altamira SS's Kartal Taştan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Cunha in the 90th minute of play. Tiburcio Gizon might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kartal Taştan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Gizon ran back to his position shaking his head. The Red BuL Sao Carlos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Red BuL Sao Carlos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
