Spectators: 6868 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Suárez Rado started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Guaecá MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Perez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Oscar Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpha F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diamantino de Sena let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 7th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Yusuf Tokuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Paes having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Suárez Rado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gil Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Yusuf Tokuş kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gil Paes. That made the score 2-1 in the 19 minute of play. Suárez Rado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Valério de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Yusuf Tokuş put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gil Paes. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guaecá MZ! In the 34thth minute of the game Suárez Rado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 played minutes Alpha F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Braga. When Per Gunnarsson fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpha F. C.'s protests and gave Per Gunnarsson a yellow card for diving instead. Per Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Oscar Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpha F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Suárez Rado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Serwach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério de Medeiros having to interfere. Guaecá MZ's Gil Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Guaecá MZ from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

53 minutes into the match, Guaecá MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Tokuş came free, but Gil Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alpha F. C. were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Guaecá MZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yusuf Tokuş took the corner. Leonel Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guaecá MZ's Suárez Rado got a free kick in the 65th minute. Károly Tóth made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alpha F. C.'s Oscar Braga. The audience was convinced that Yusuf Tokuş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Paes was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Suárez Rado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 minutes of play Alpha F. C.'s Oscar Braga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th minute, Oscar Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alpha F. C. made a substitution. Wágner Messias replaced Per Gunnarsson. Suárez Rado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaecá MZ's Franciszek Serwach got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valério de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suárez Rado in the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Suárez Rado got free with Valério de Medeiros in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franciszek Serwach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério de Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Suárez Rado struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Valério de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaecá MZ.
