Arnaldo Barbosa hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Buritama Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Suárez Rado came free, but Paulo de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Suárez Rado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buritama Sport Club's Paulo de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Olívio de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guaecá MZ's Suárez Rado in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buritama Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. If Suárez Rado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franciszek Serwach couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Suárez Rado put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo de Godoi.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olívio de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo de Godoi having to interfere. Suárez Rado in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulo de Godoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Buritama Sport Club's Paulo de Godoi got control of the ball when Suárez Rado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Buritama Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Sousa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Tóth in the 63rd minute of play forced Buritama Sport Club's goalkeeper Paulo de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Suárez Rado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Paulo de Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Suárez Rado put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo de Godoi. In the 74th minute, Franciszek Serwach made a precise shot to the right of Paulo de Godoi. Buritama Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Suárez Rado in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo de Godoi saved Buritama Sport Club from getting behind. Károly Tóth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo de Godoi having to interfere. Franciszek Serwach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
