The referee ignored Altamira SS's protests and gave Jonathan Aires a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Altamira SS got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Aires.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Lara to make the kick off. Kartal Taştan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Matos in the 53rd minute of the match. Altamira SS's Narciso Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kartal Taştan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvaldo Ferreira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 90 minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Altamira SS lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
