Valério de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Alpha F. C.'s Eliézer de Medeiros got a free kick in the 6th minute. Valério de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Alpha F. C.'s Sílvio Luiz Ortiz got a free kick in the 11th minute. Sílvio Luiz Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Velasco in the 16th minute of play forced Alpha F. C.'s goalkeeper Valério de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Luncașu in the 17th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Alpha F. C.'s Tostão Corrêa threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yusuf Tokuş, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Naldo Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério de Medeiros having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Luncașu in the 28th minute of play forced Alpha F. C.'s goalkeeper Valério de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oscar Braga fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpha F. C.'s protests and gave Oscar Braga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alpha F. C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Oscar Braga hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Codruț Luncașu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valério de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Lenílson Velasco. But to his dismay, Lenílson Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 45th minute Codruț Luncașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valério de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Luncașu in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Codruț Luncașu was the one to do the kick off. Diamantino de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Codruț Luncașu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valério de Medeiros. The goal made the score 0-3. 66 minutes into the game, Codruț Luncașu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valério de Medeiros. Codruț Luncașu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Diamantino de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros got control of the ball when Lenílson Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Yusuf Tokuş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tostão Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Alpha F. C.'s Raimundo Paiva was substituted for Vágner Rosado. Alpha F. C. made a substitution. Pedro Augusto Prata replaced Walmir Koehler. Codruț Luncașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério de Medeiros having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Diamantino de Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpha F. C. and the Pinheiros Capibaras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alpha F. C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Diamantino de Sena hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Codruț Luncașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codruț Luncașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Alpha F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Luncașu came free, but Valério de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Codruț Luncașu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Valério de Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
