Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, Dito Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oeste Barueri Andrade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nuporanga SC the free kick. Dito Fontes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Cafu Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Gernando Rossi however easily saved by the left post. In the 9th match minute, Nuporanga SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Neves to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Gernando Rossi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 14 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. João Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16thth minute of the game Wellington Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nuporanga SC's João Rossi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Toledo got free with Gernando Rossi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kléber Queirós took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Rossi. João Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Ronaldão Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gernando Rossi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Toledo went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Kléber Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Rossi came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Oeste Barueri Andrade's Kléber Queirós. But to his dismay, Kléber Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Lino Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Oeste Barueri Andrade! Raphael Cardozo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Nuporanga SC booed when Oeste Barueri Andrade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Souto in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Oeste Barueri Andrade's zone, Cafu Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernando Rossi came out of the goal and Cafu Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Maurício Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Alcântara in the 79th minute of play forced Nuporanga SC's goalkeeper João Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Oeste Barueri Andrade got a corner. Nuporanga SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wellington Quadros ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wellington Quadros made a great header on Oeste Barueri Andrade's corner, it was just that Nuporanga SC's João Rossi managed to reach the ball for a save. Lino Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gernando Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dito Fontes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. A collision led to Oeste Barueri Andrade getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dito Fontes hit a great ball. Raphael Cardozo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gernando Rossi. Oeste Barueri Andrade's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oeste Barueri Andrade's Gernando Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Souto in the 87th minute of play. Kléber Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. João Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernando Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Luisinho Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oeste Barueri Andrade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Queirós got free with João Rossi in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oeste Barueri Andrade's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
