Arapa's Fabrício Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Souto in the 11th minute of play. Fabrício Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Kauan Palmeira put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of João Rossi. In the 46th match minute, Arapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Arapa's Fabrício Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Souto in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Palmeira to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Souto in the 69th minute of play forced Arapa's goalkeeper Fabrício Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Frédson Mattos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 72nd match minute, Arapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Fabrício Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Souto in the 73rd minute of play. Lino Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Baptista having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Nuporanga SC got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Pontes. In the 85th match minute, Arapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
