After a defensive mix-up in S.e cadilli's zone, Sidney Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Félix came out of the goal and Sidney Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josué Arce during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Revolucionários F.C booed when S.e cadilli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Revolucionários F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Costa came free, but Amadeu do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Many of Revolucionários F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Revolucionários F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but S.e cadilli were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
