With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Clemente Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Antunes in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Conrado Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Gualter Matos. manchester sitio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 25th match minute, Avahy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Tião Batista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Maurinho Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. manchester sitio's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes, Avahy's Fausto Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualter Matos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Avahy reached it. Armindo Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by manchester sitio's Maurinho Baiano. But to his dismay, Maurinho Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcos Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurinho Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Rodrigues having to interfere. Clemente Bezerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armindo Rodrigues came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Bezerra slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Armindo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Baiano in the 54th minute of the match. If Marcos Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Marcos Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avahy's Armindo Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Avahy getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Yuri Paiva hit a great ball. When Avahy's Charles Mattos in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Adalmo Carvalho's late challenge caught a manchester sitio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalmo Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Adalmo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes, Marcos Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the manchester sitio and the Avahy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Marcos Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. manchester sitio's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. manchester sitio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
