Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when João Pedro Vidal made the kick off which started today's match. 11 minutes into the game, Madury FC's Waldemar Bezerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, João Pedro Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madury FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Madury FC's Manfredo Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Mineiro in the 17th minute of play. João Pedro Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfredo Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amauri de Lara in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the ThuGLife Mz defense, Umberto Paranaense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson Queiroz. The ThuGLife Mz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson Queiroz should have stopped the shot. João Pedro Mesquita hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Dedé Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho da Cunha struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nelson Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madury FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pedro Vidal in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Queiroz saved ThuGLife Mz from getting behind. Madury FC's Umberto Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelson Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ThuGLife Mz's zone, João Pedro Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Queiroz came out of the goal and João Pedro Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ThuGLife Mz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Madury FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ricardinho Mineiro made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Alfredinho da Cunha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Waldemar Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nelson Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, ThuGLife Mz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri de Lara to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, ThuGLife Mz's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Pedro Vidal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. João Pedro Vidal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelson Queiroz having to make a save. If João Pedro Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, João Pedro Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ThuGLife Mz's goalkeeper Nelson Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waldemar Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Nelson Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madury FC. João Pedro Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Pedro Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nelson Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nelson Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madury FC. When Madury FC's João Pedro Vidal in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ThuGLife Mz's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredinho da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Waldemar Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ThuGLife Mz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Madury FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
