ThuGLife Mz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind ThuGLife Mz's goalkeeper Nelson Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wellington Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ThuGLife Mz's zone, Maicon Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Queiroz came out of the goal and Maicon Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agnaldo Ribeiro to make the kick off. Herbert Kleinert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amauri de Lara in the 53rd minute. Nelson Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maicon Paranaense went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maicon Paranaense in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Queiroz saved ThuGLife Mz from getting behind. The supporters of Bola Verdin booed when ThuGLife Mz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position.
