The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Elpidio Quinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janek Koller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustaw Domaradzki having to make a save. When Szymon Sochacki came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Winners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Szymon Sochacki couldn't finish the play. Szymon Sochacki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pereirao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Winners's Elpidio Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Guerra in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Winners booed when Pereirao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Claudinho Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Claudinho Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Pereirao's Gustaw Domaradzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Loyola in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Gustaw Domaradzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janek Koller in the 54th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Pereirao's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Sochacki came free, but Gustaw Domaradzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janek Koller kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Claudinho Mandrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pereirao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winners the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Pereirao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Pereirao's Gustaw Domaradzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Sochacki in the 92nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Pereirao's Elpidio Quinton threw himself towards the right post 98 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudinho Mandrak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee ended the match the Winners players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
