Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Só Canela FC's Maicon Mendonça started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afonso de Queirós came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pereirao's Jefferson Guerra. But to his dismay, Jefferson Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th minute, Fernandão Trevisan had to leave the field with a concussion. Hortêncio Albuquerque's late challenge caught a Só Canela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hortêncio Albuquerque helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Hortêncio Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Só Canela FC's goalkeeper Afonso de Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Couto. After 15 played minutes Pereirao got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre do Nascimento. Pereirao's Gustaw Domaradzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Mendonça in the 16th minute of play. Renato Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gustaw Domaradzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20thth minute of the game Maicon Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pereirao's Gustaw Domaradzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Couto got free with Afonso de Queirós in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renato Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Domaradzki having to interfere. Só Canela FC's Afonso de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Mandrak in the 27th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Só Canela FC got a freekick which was hit by Renato Gaúcho. Vladimir Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jefferson Guerra got free with Afonso de Queirós in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilian Guedes hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Afonso de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Mandrak in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Só Canela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Mandrak came free, but Afonso de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Domaradzki having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinho Mandrak to make the kick off. Maicon Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Pereirao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Couto to maneuver through the defense. Romário Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gustaw Domaradzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Couto in the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Jefferson Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pereirao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Vasconcelos in the 69th minute of play forced Só Canela FC's goalkeeper Afonso de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Mandrak in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Pereirao got a corner. Só Canela FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rômulo Diniz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pereirao's Rômulo Diniz to fire away a dangerous shot which Afonso de Queirós despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gustaw Domaradzki made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Maicon Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Afonso de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Mandrak in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pereirao's Vladimir Couto got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 94 minutes of play, Pereirao's Jefferson Guerra made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Couto in the 96th minute of play forced Só Canela FC's goalkeeper Afonso de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Só Canela FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pereirao.
