After a rather tough play, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Alberto Furlan got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Samuel Palmeira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Albuquerque skillfully saved the ball. Claudinei Cunha's late challenge caught a Paneleros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Claudinei Cunha got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Arnaldo Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paneleros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MAIS TRADICIONAL FC! Paneleros FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Hélio Braga scored to the left of an out of position Natanael Silva, making the score, 1-1. In the 45th match minute, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Fantini made a kick off. Paulo José Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Nelson Albuquerque made a huge save. If Arnaldo Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Paneleros FC's Samuel Palmeira in action when he in the 56th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After having played for 58 minutes, Arnaldo Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paneleros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Paneleros FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Paneleros FC's Arnaldo Fantini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 68 minutes into the match, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Fantini came free, but Nelson Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes MAIS TRADICIONAL FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Furlan. Nelson Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Fantini in the 79th minute of the match. Arnaldo Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Hudson das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paneleros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hudson das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paneleros FC played a much better game than MAIS TRADICIONAL FC and deserved their victory. The MAIS TRADICIONAL FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
