In the 6th match minute, Campestrinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Campestrinho SC's Rogério Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Mandrak in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Campestrinho SC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Mandrak came free, but Rogério Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pereirao getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Carlos Augusto de Medeiros hit a great ball. Campestrinho SC's Rogério Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Guerra in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Pereirao's Vladimir Couto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Dionísio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Pereirao getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Narciso Veiga hit a great ball. When Jonathan Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campestrinho SC's protests and gave Jonathan Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Campestrinho SC! After 35 minutes of play Pereirao's Vladimir Couto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vladimir Couto hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Juvenal Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dida Martins was the one to do the kick off. Dida Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Domaradzki having to interfere. Gustaw Domaradzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Furtado in the 59th minute of the match. Claudinho Mandrak hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Campestrinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Gustaw Domaradzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogério Dionísio having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Claudinho Mandrak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Dionísio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Pereirao's Claudinho Mandrak got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Luiz Fernando Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Almir Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Campestrinho SC defense, Jefferson Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Dionísio. The Campestrinho SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Dionísio should have stopped the shot.
