The Jaguaricatu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edu Barreto should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Válter Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaguaricatu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Só Canela FC the free kick. A collision led to Jaguaricatu getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Válter Cruz hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Válter Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso de Queirós. Só Canela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Válter Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 94 minutes into the game, Jaguaricatu's Válter Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jaguaricatu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Só Canela FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
