Luiz Fernando Matorin hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes Só Canela FC got a freekick which was hit by Romário Aguiar. If Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Campestrinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Só Canela FC's Wilian Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the game Braulio Odilon made a throw-in which Fernandão Trevisan played forward. Campestrinho SC's Rogério Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Aguiar in the 37th minute of play. If Arthur Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernandão Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur Furtado was the one to do the kick off. Arthur Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Só Canela FC booed when Campestrinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Romário Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Mendonça in the 69th minute of play. Rogério Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maicon Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Campestrinho SC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Matorin. Maicon Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandão Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Dionísio having to interfere. Rogério Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maicon Mendonça in the 90th minute. Campestrinho SC's Rogério Dionísio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Campestrinho SC from getting a goal against them. The Campestrinho SC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
