Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's goalkeeper Nelson Albuquerque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute Andrézinho Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes, Maicon Mendonça made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Nelson Albuquerque tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Romário Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Só Canela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Maicon Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nelson Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, José Paulo França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAIS TRADICIONAL FC and the Só Canela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilian Guedes, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Maicon Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maicon Mendonça in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nelson Albuquerque, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Maicon Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Albuquerque was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Mendonça in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes of play MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's José Paulo França was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. José Paulo França hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maicon Mendonça in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Albuquerque saved MAIS TRADICIONAL FC from getting behind. Só Canela FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
