When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Pereirao's Rômulo Diniz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Einar Wall. Sandrinho Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gustaw Domaradzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Claudinho Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pereirao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 played minutes Rio Brando de Andradas FC got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Paes. Rômulo Diniz, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Víktor Vasconcelos during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Víktor Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Rio Brando de Andradas FC's Einar Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Mandrak in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Pereirao's goalkeeper Gustaw Domaradzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fábio Freire. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Mandrak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Einar Wall was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 66th minute Sandrinho Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Domaradzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fábio Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gustaw Domaradzki made a huge save. In the 95th minute Claudinho Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pereirao support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
