Gino Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aílton Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gino Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Aílton Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino Garcia went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Martele's Gino Garcia in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TOP CORINTHIANS FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th match minute, TOP CORINTHIANS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Silveira to maneuver through the defense. When Martele's Gino Garcia in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TOP CORINTHIANS FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Hernani Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TOP CORINTHIANS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Aílton Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Martele's Gino Garcia. But to his dismay, Gino Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Gino Garcia put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Aílton Pinheiro. In the 45th minute, Fernando Chus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcinho Félix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aílton Pinheiro stood somewhat misplaced when Gino Garcia came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 53 minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TOP CORINTHIANS FC's goalkeeper Aílton Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gino Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aílton Pinheiro having to make a save. In the 66th minute, Renan de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes TOP CORINTHIANS FC got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Marinho. Aílton Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Válbson Pitta sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Chus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martele's Zé Roberto Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, João Augusto Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Válbson Pitta, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fernando Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The TOP CORINTHIANS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Martele were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
