Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Genílson Netto got the match started through his kick off. When Cido Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Razeirense MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cido Pereira couldn't finish the play. Válter Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Sidney Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Costa in the 22nd minute. Edvaldo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Cido Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Razeirense MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Cafu Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Genílson Netto put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sidney Marques. Edvaldo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Imbiara EC's Válter Maranhense got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Cido Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Edvaldo Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Cido Pereira made the kick off in the second half. Giuseppe de Senna hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Edvaldo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Baiano in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Razeirense MZC's Cafu Salgado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 86th minute, Cido Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 87 minutes, Genílson Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbiara EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Razeirense MZC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Imbiara EC.
