After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tuur Raeymakers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soneca AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuur Raeymakers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anderson Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wiliam Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Pe de Sabão FC's Wellington Paraíba. But to his dismay, Wellington Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pe de Sabão FC's goalkeeper Tiago Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wellington Paraíba hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Betinho Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Tuur Raeymakers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiago Monteiro. The goal made the score 1-3. The Soneca AC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
