Dino Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano França during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, São Bernardo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano França to maneuver through the defense. Dino Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Dino Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuur Raeymakers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of São Bernardo F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soneca AC:s goal. Fred Perez placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Fred Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Paraibano having to interfere. Tuur Raeymakers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dino Paraibano made a huge save. If Tuur Raeymakers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Bernardo F.C's goalkeeper Dino Paraibano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Freire charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Freire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dino Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuur Raeymakers in the 40th minute of the match. Dino Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Perez in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tuur Raeymakers made the kick off in the second half. Rafael Nunes hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Dino Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuur Raeymakers in the 52nd minute of the match. Dino Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuur Raeymakers, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dino Paraibano came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Soneca AC's Fred Perez. But to his dismay, Fred Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 59th minute, Tuur Raeymakers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Freire got free with Wiliam Hoffmann in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th match minute, Soneca AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Soneca AC's Wiliam Hoffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Soneca AC from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Betinho Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Soneca AC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marcus Freire hit a great ball. When Rafael Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Bernardo F.C's protests and gave Rafael Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Rafael Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Fred Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuur Raeymakers in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Paraibano saved São Bernardo F.C from getting behind. When Nuno Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the São Bernardo F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Gerber couldn't finish the play. Dino Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuur Raeymakers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
