In the 2nd minute, Breno Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Igor Freire came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the São Bernardo F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Freire couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Lucas Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arceburgo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Paraibano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Lucas Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aírton Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arceburgo's protests and gave Aírton Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Arceburgo got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Arósio. Olívio Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Guimarães in the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arceburgo's zone, Olívio Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Barbosa came out of the goal and Olívio Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dino Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Guimarães in the 31st minute of the match. Nuno Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. André Luiz Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Luiz Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Nunes in the 35th minute of play. Ediberto Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Luiz Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ediberto Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. When São Bernardo F.C's Olívio Saraiva in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arceburgo's goalie prevented a goal. Deivid de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Dino Paraibano made a huge save. Virgílio Goiano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in São Bernardo F.C's zone, Lucas Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Paraibano came out of the goal and Lucas Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Arceburgo's Léo Porto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dino Paraibano. Dino Paraibano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lucas Guimarães made the kick off in the second half. São Bernardo F.C's Dino Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Guimarães in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Deivid de Barros notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of São Bernardo F.C's Dino Paraibano. Dino Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 62 minutes of play, Arceburgo's Deivid de Barros made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Paraibano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Lucas Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Paraibano. São Bernardo F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 67 played minutes Arceburgo got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Diniz. Igor Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Arceburgo's Lucas Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Paraibano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Olívio Saraiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but André Luiz Barbosa made a huge save. Olívio Saraiva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. André Luiz Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Olívio Saraiva slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 78th minute. São Bernardo F.C's Dino Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid de Barros in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Olívio Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Rafael Nunes's late challenge caught a Arceburgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, São Bernardo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Guimarães scored 6-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Paraibano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arceburgo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
