The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mythos Futebol Clube. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Conjunto Capelinha FC's Nando Paraense got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomé Arantes. In the 81st minute André Luiz Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Mythos Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Santana.
