Despite this Elano Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nando Dante's late challenge caught a ПФК ЦСКА's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Fernandez in the 47th minute of play forced Sustino AD's goalkeeper Cláudio Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Cláudio Gaspar was a little too slow when Akawel Azem got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. But to his dismay, Luís Fernando Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. ПФК ЦСКА were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sustino AD's much stronger midfield.
