Jonas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Murry, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 1-3 became the score in the 18th minute when Sebastian Murry elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Natanael de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. The referee showed Cesinha Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bola Bola getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natanael de Amorim to make the kick off. The Bola Bola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Cardozo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bola Bola's zone, Natanael de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Cardozo came out of the goal and Natanael de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bola Bola's Walmir de Azevedo got a free kick in the 75th minute. The nice shot from Sebastian Murry in the 77thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jonas Cardozo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Luiz Guilherme Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ryan Smeekes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jonas Cardozo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Murry got free with Jonas Cardozo in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Barraos's Natanael de Amorim got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonas Cardozo. If Sebastian Murry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Barraos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bola Bola throughout the match.
