Jacinto Veiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Zé Roberto Carioca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacinto Veigas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Zé Roberto Carioca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dadá Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Donatello having to interfere. Alan Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Peres in the 10th minute of play. Zé Roberto Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Carioca having to interfere. Orós FC's Zé Roberto Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Veiga in the 22nd minute of play. When Jacinto Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Dragões Vermelhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Veiga couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute João Carlos Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orós FC's attack was well implemented in the 27th minute, but when João Carlos Teles was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Doni Pires's late challenge caught a Orós FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doni Pires helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dragões Vermelhos's Doni Pires got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Válter Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes, Orós FC's Chico Pinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alan Donatello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orós FC reached it. In the 34th minute Válter Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Adelino Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacinto Veiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Zé Roberto Carioca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões Vermelhos's zone, Edmílson Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Donatello came out of the goal and Edmílson Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Carlos Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Orós FC's Válter Peres got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Eusébio Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragões Vermelhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67thth minute of the game Eusébio Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orós FC's Zé Roberto Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alan Donatello made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Válter Peres sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Válter Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alan Donatello. Dragões Vermelhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Válter Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 95 played minutes, Dragões Vermelhos's Doni Pires shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Roberto Carioca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dragões Vermelhos reached it. When the final whistle sounded Orós FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dragões Vermelhos.
