Jonas Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme da Silveira in the 10th minute of the match. Walmir de Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafa Paes having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Gabriel during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bola Bola's Jonas Cardozo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Bola Bola from getting a goal against them. Jonas Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Gabriel in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Tabajara booed when Bola Bola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme da Silveira in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as João Gabriel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Cardozo. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. A collision led to Tabajara getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Zé Senna hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Donatello in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Paes saved Tabajara from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Massa got free with Jonas Cardozo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Matheus Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmir de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rafa Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bola Bola. Rafa Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Donatello in the 46th minute of play. Tabajara's Roberto da Fonseca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonas Cardozo but with some difficulty. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silas Donatello to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Marcelo Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fred Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, João Gabriel made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Cardozo. Bola Bola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 72 minutes into the game, Tabajara's João Gabriel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Matheus Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tabajara's Manuel Pires in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bola Bola's goalie prevented a goal. Jonas Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Gabriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Gabriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bola Bola's goalkeeper Jonas Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. João Gabriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jonas Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bola Bola's Matheus Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silas Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
