First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Dadá Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Evaristo Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dadá Tavares in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferraria EC's goalkeeper Evaristo Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Dadá Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferraria EC's Evaristo Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Dadá Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Varela. Ferraria EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
