The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Falcão Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Brodel in the 4th minute of the match. Amadeu Pinheiro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Succatha's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Ceresso came free, but Mané Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aroeiral SC's Falcão Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas de Godoi in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão Brodel in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustão Brodel in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Duarte saved Aroeiral SC from getting behind. Hamílton Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamílton Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aroeiral SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hamílton Secco hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Faustão Brodel sped through Aroeiral SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Falcão Duarte. Falcão Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustão Brodel's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Faustão Brodel scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Falcão Duarte came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Succatha's Faustão Brodel. But to his dismay, Faustão Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 32nd play minutes Faustão Brodel shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Falcão Duarte and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 34th minute, Rafael Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustão Brodel in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Duarte saved Aroeiral SC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Aroeiral SC's Robinho Maia got a free kick in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Aroeiral SC's Amadeu Pinheiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mané Dracena. That made the score 1-5 after 43 minutes of play. João Francisco Félix's late challenge caught a Succatha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Félix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Aroeiral SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Félix to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

If Nicolas de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 minutes, Faustão Brodel made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Aroeiral SC's Falcão Duarte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustão Brodel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Falcão Duarte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredinho Pena during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredinho Pena hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Faustão Brodel didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-7 via right post in the game's 61st minute. Succatha's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Aroeiral SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Claus Kynding scored to the left of an out of position Falcão Duarte, making the score, 1-8. Nicolas de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Duarte having to interfere. Mané Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Lucas in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão Brodel in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute Flavinho Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Jorge Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Succatha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aroeiral SC the free kick. Jorge Lara hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Aroeiral SC's Falcão Duarte got control of the ball when Faustão Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, one of Succatha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Succatha:s Mané Dracena showed great skill when he stopped Murilo Torres:s penalty. Succatha's Mané Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Ceresso in the 93rd minute of play. Fernando Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Faustão Brodel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Falcão Duarte. The goal made the score 1-10. Succatha played a much better game than Aroeiral SC and deserved their victory. The Aroeiral SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
