In the 10th minute, AS wanheda's Percival Talló ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giovani Brodel. Giovani Brodel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Giovani Brodel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Augusto Palben sent off a good shot on target. Jarbas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Ramos in the 17th minute of play. Pauliceia's Vitinho Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pauliceia booed when AS wanheda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Vitinho Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pauliceia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fábio Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Percival Talló hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Giovani Brodel made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Augusto Palben sent off a good shot on target. Vitinho Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Percival Talló fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Brodel having to interfere. Jarbas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Ramos in the 43rd minute of play. Edu Porto hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Vitinho Ramos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of AS wanheda's Jarbas de Andrade. Jarbas de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Percival Talló stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giovani Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Talló, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jarbas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Ramos in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Vitinho Ramos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jarbas de Andrade, passed just outside the right post. Percival Talló scored 3-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovani Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, AS wanheda's goalkeeper Jarbas de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Soares. Lucas Cano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Vitinho Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas de Andrade having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Percival Talló ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovani Brodel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Percival Talló received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Giovani Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovani Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Palben went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. If Humberto Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, AS wanheda's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Ramos came free, but Jarbas de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AS wanheda's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
