Mané Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustão Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jorge Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Succatha's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Taborda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Brodel came free, but Elder Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Succatha's Nicolas de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elder Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Taborda FC's Hamílton Velasco got a free kick in the 31st minute. Succatha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Brodel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Succatha's goalkeeper Mané Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilian Oliveira. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís de Moraes made a kick off. Mané Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Taborda FC's Claudinei Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mané Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Taborda FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Benjamin Barros hit a great ball. Mané Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Oliveira in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Succatha's José Maria Amaral seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed José Maria Amaral the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Succatha protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and José Maria Amaral had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Taborda FC booed when Succatha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Gilberto Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Succatha's Faustão Brodel got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Faustão Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Succatha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustão Brodel couldn't finish the play. Jorge Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Nicu Zglimbea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Succatha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taborda FC the free kick. A collision led to Succatha getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nicu Zglimbea hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Erasmo Cruz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Succatha's Mané Dracena didn't even have to move. Elder Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustão Brodel's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Faustão Brodel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elder Moreira, 1-3. When Sidney Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taborda FC's protests and gave Sidney Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Taborda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Succatha's Faustão Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sidney Zonta was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Sidney Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Succatha left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taborda FC.
