Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Scholl in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilbert Thormar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Percy Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Matheus Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Fontes having to interfere. If Alfredão da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amílton Perez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Salvador Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Perez couldn't finish the play. In the 41st match minute, Salvador Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 43 minutes into the game, one of Salvador Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Max Scholl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Max Scholl might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilbert Thormar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Scholl ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute Alfredão da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilbert Thormar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Alfredão da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Paranaense during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexsandro Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Salvador Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão da Rocha came free, but Gil Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
