Guga Lira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Baptista in the 17th minute. Jacuarana's Guga Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Jacuarana from getting a goal against them. Gonçalo de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Lira having to interfere. Gilberto Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Perez in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Claudinei Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Homossexual Futebol Clube's Leopoldo Baptista got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Baptista got free with Guga Lira in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonçalo de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Guga Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonçalo de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Claudinei Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacuarana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Homossexual Futebol Clube the free kick. After 53 played minutes Jacuarana got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Godoi. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jacuarana's goalkeeper Guga Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilberto Veiga made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Alberto Pontes sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Pontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilberto Veiga came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Pontes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 56th minute. Alessandro Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Veiga having to interfere. Guga Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Baptista in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Gonçalo de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Homossexual Futebol Clube's Gonçalo de Sena in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jacuarana's goalie prevented a goal. Jacuarana's Guga Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Baptista in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Alessandro Perez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilberto Veiga. Alessandro Perez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. With a little luck, Homossexual Futebol Clube's Gilberto Veiga got control of the ball when Alberto Pontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Homossexual Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jacuarana were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
