The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessandro Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emerson Berger made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Humberto Cavalcante immediately put the ball in play. Jacuarana's Guga Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Meirelles in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rondoniense SC had won after a very even match.
