Naldo Mello's late challenge caught a Bocaja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Ivo Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Donatello was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Bocaja's Felipe Maranhense was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelo Donatello in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
