Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Paraibano started the match with the kick off. Víktor de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinícius Antunes came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Desportivo Apollo XIII's Eduardo Vianna. But to his dismay, Eduardo Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Desportivo Apollo XIII's Eduardo Vianna in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachambi FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute, Chiquinho Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Caio Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desportivo Apollo XIII's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachambi FC the free kick. After 17 played minutes, Cachambi FC's Fernandão Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Víktor de Souza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachambi FC reached it. Marcinho Faria hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Carlos Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Armando Mandrak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Víktor de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eduardo Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinícius Antunes having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Fernando Paraibano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinícius Antunes. Cachambi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Paraibano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Natanael Neves's late challenge caught a Desportivo Apollo XIII's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natanael Neves helped the player get up and apologised. Caio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Armando Mandrak made the kick off in the second half. Vinícius Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcinho Faria during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Marcinho Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Fonseca in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Fonseca in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Víktor de Souza saved Desportivo Apollo XIII from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Desportivo Apollo XIII's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Neves came free, but Víktor de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Armando Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Machado struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Vinícius Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desportivo Apollo XIII. Armando Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Víktor de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Faria in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Desportivo Apollo XIII getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Beto Mangueira hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Fernandão Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachambi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandão Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víktor de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Víktor de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Fonseca in the 95th minute of play. Eduardo Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Desportivo Apollo XIII players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cachambi FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
